slip law 〈美〉单行本法 法律的第一次正式公布是从国会转到行政事务管理局〔General Services Administration〕和联邦登记处办公室,这时称为「单行本法」,它是从已经总统签字的归档的法案〔enrolled bill〕上复印下来的,采用活页小册子的形式。在联邦登记处办公室对每一单行法要分配给一个公法编号,这些编号按顺序排列,在每届国会开始时编号也即重新开始。将单行本法按时间顺序编排装订成册出版即为《制定法大全》〔Statutes at Large〕。行政事务管理局负责该编排工作并做索引。联邦登记处办公室按国会会期分卷发行《制定法大全》,当某一卷被存放于图书馆中时,其中收录的单行本法即不再予以保存。
